In this gentle non-intrusive , fun, informative and relaxing workshop, Shannon Thunderbird creates a safe and sacred environment in which participants have a chance to reconnect to the stories found in their personal histories. Connections are also made to the four major realms of human existance - the Mind, Spirit, Emotions and Physical Body. This workshop is for those who seek inner peace and a healthier mind and body so that the fullness of their talents can be liberated. The workshop requires teamwork, positive attitudes and co-operation in order to get in touch with the fullness of the souls planetary beat.
Shannon Thunderbird weaves through her presentation revelant traditional teachings from her first nations heritage that speak of the timeless principle that the entire universe answers to one elegant and simple pulse--the heartbeat of mother earth. Participants have the opportunity to quiet their inner chatter, centre their minds and reconnect with the positive messages that true self-empowerment brings.

Self-expression through respect for mother earth using singing, storytelling, drumming and sound therapy or "soundscaping" are a variety of methods that speak to our inner selves. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and are invited to bring their own percussion instrument.
The group will choose one of the songs they have learned to end the day on a high note.
