Ron began his career in entertainment way back as a youngster learning to play the guitar when he was seven years old. Long before MTV took to the airwaves, Ron dreamed of being a rock and roll star. "I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and thought "Any job that makes girls scream, throw themselves at you and you only work 60 minutes a night for millions of dollars is the job for me!"
From there he went on to form his first rock n roll band at age 12 and played his first "gig" for his junior high school dance. "We only knew five songs, but we knew them well, so we played them over and over and over and over. We thought we were rock stars and kept waiting for the girls to start throwing themselves at us…It was a LONNNNGG wait".
After graduating, Ron divided his time between a job, a new family and performing five nights a week. Those pipedreams of working only 60 minutes a night turned into four to six 90 minutes sets each nightly. But even
though the rock star dream was fading, Ron's love for the stage and performing never lessened.
In the mid 90's, together with a new partner in his life and renewed outlook on life, Ron began performing music again. Again his love for the stage came shining through but somehow, it wasn't quite enough.
Always curious about the power of the mind, Ron developed an interest in hypnosis; reading book after book and studying everything he could find. This led him to personally studying with some of the best minds in the field of hypnosis and eventually becoming internationally known in his own right as a therapist, accredited instructor, author, public speaker and expert on the subject of NLP, Body Language, and Hypnosis. His work with children as been nationally recognized by the National Guild of Hypnotists and he was recently awarded the Fellowship Award from the prestigious Association of Professional Hypnotists and Psychotherapists for his expertise and contributions to the field of hypnosis.
Not only is Ron Stubbs a professionally trained and certified Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, the highest designation available in the field but he is also a Certified Instructor of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. He has been called "the Instructor' s Instructor", is President of the National Guild of Hypnotists for Washington State, one of only four hypnosis instructors in the United State certified and accredited by the Prestigious Association of Professional Hypnotists and Psychotherapists, he brings a wealth of understanding, compassion and ethics to his shows.
