Jim Dunham One of the fastest quick draw artist in the business.It is on the record that Jim can draw and shoot his Colt 45's in less than .12 seconds-about the time to blink an eye. Jim has been entertaining folks around the country for more than 25 years,performing at supper clubs,trail rides,historical gatherings and on television.When Jim appeared at the Golden Boot Awards in Hollywood, Gene Autry claimed,"his act was the best part of the evening" Dunham has oppened performances for singers Jerry Jeff Walker and Willie Nelson and has been a feature act for 20th.Century Fox Studios in Hollywood and Southwest Studios in Arizona.He has performed in television commercials and instructed television stars who appear in series such as Quantum Leap.
In addition,Dunham lectures on western history,North Plains Indians,cowboys,mountainmen and in western movies.He portrays Charlie Russell in Trails Plowed Under.Jim recently played a gambler in the movie Tombstone,which tells the story of Wyatt Earp and the gunfight at the OK Corral,a part of history that Jim finds of special interest.
