In a far different world than we know today, lived a breed of men called Cowboys. They were made up of Wranglers,Desperados,Gunslingers, and just about anyone, who had a hankering to go west. These men lived on the range with the stars for their ceiling and the grass for their beds. They lived in a lawless time, competing for land, stray cattle, wild horses, gold, silver and even water. Some of these men made it big like the famous Diamond Jim Brady but,a lot more men died in various ways, building what we now call the american west.Among them were store keepers, school teachers, doctors, lawyers and even clergy. We don't want to leave out those brave women who helped these men create the west. Some of these women made names for themselve as well as the men take Calamity Jane,Belle Star,Annie Oakley, just to name a few.
On the following page are links and information of several different entertainers such as,trick rope artist, quick draw, rodeo clowns (one of the most dangeous jobs in the world)trick riders and several other types of wild west entertainers. These people are all available for special events.
The entertainers mentioned, are the descendants of those early pioneers, who keep the memory of the old west alive. Without their hard and sometimes dangerous jobs ,we might start forgeting all the stories, names and places, you have heard about all your life. If they had one title for all of them,I'd call them, (The Sons and Daughters of the American West).
